The history of the Gucci Dionysus bag...

A Bag inspired by myth and legend
The Dionysus is truly a unique and classic bag that virtually goes with anything and everything due to the simplistic but beautiful design and its neutral colour-way. However we at iBagzy wanted to delve into the meaning behind the luxurious tiger head closure - a new motif for the brand - which represents the myth of greek god Dionysus.
Though there are many varieties of the myth, the one that inspired the design of the bag is when Dionysus, son of Zeus, transformed himself into a tiger to carry a young nymph across the river, which then became the Tigris river. The Greek god Dionysus possesses the conventional powers of the Olympian gods including superhuman strength vitality, longevity and resistance to injury... which we can certainly see in this bag as it is versatile, robust and will never go out of style.
This is a truly superb bag for everyday use as it has a multitude of compartments that can easily fit in your keys, money and phone.
